February 2009

The trial lasted 1 day. The jury deliberated and found the client guilty of OWI. The firm appealed the conviction to Judge Donald Johnston of the 17th Circuit Court. Judge Johnston reversed the conviction and ordered the case be re-tried before a new jury. After some delay and discussion between the parties, the defendant agreed to plead guilty to Impaired driving 1st offense and plead after the 7 year mark so he could keep his license.
